Autonomous network roadmap
From 10 nodes to public-chain settlement.
LiberGrid is designed so Codex or OpenClaw can continue routine operations: monitor nodes, grow capacity, publish ledger snapshots, and prepare chain settlement with minimal human intervention.
Milestones
Node-count triggers
Each phase unlocks only the automation that is safe for that maturity level.
Keep API online, publish leaderboard, collect uptime and quality metrics. Credits remain off-chain.
Add API key registration, daily ledger exports, node reputation, and automatic testnet settlement.
Batch credits, publish signed ledger hashes, run daily testnet settlement, and simulate mainnet gas costs.
Enable capped payout queue only after fraud scoring, uptime minimums, backups, and emergency pause are live.
Codex and OpenClaw
Autonomous responsibilities
Architecture, code changes, release validation, and website/API updates.
Server automation, worker restarts, status checks, log collection, and milestone execution.
Wallet custody, domain ownership, mainnet budget caps, and business decisions.
Safety
Mainnet guardrails
Mainnet settlement should never be uncapped. Initial automation should use daily limits, per-node payout limits, public settlement hashes, database backups, and a server-side pause file at /opt/libergrid/PAUSE_AUTOMATION.
